During his day job as a video producer, Nick Nixon would end up creating sounds which just didn't go with his visuals. Instead of giving up, the 25-year-old from Oxford would work some magic and turn those unused sounds into songs!
Having moved from the piano to the keyboard, he takes inspiration from EDM legends who are infamous for manipulating vocals, including Major Lazer, DJ Snake and SeeB.
Relying on his 'gut instinct', Nick urges others wanting to break into the industry to ignore people intent on putting you down - "if it sounds good, then it is good."
Discover how Nick used his day job to experiment with his sound and become a Vodafone Future Breaker.
